About Us

Formed by two South Australian Intensive Care Paramedics, 4Life Pty Ltd was established to provide flexible, quality first aid and medical training and complimentary services for corporate clients and the general community.

Experienced People
As Intensive Care Paramedics, Bruce Cameron and Melinda Asquith gained significant medical emergency care experience and know how important first aid and medical training can be to people in need. Whether the person in need is a co-worker, a friend or relative or someone in the community, they can benefit greatly from help given in the first few minutes. In a critical situation, the first few minutes can make a significant difference to the person’s outcome.

Aware that many people see first aid as boring or stuffy and something that someone else should learn, Bruce and Melinda wanted to offer courses that are relevant and delivered by people with real life experience. That’s why all of 4Life’s trainers are health care professionals from paramedic or nursing backgrounds. Course participants relate quickly to our trainers’ experience and this helps add interest and context to courses.

Flexible Approach
Organisations differ greatly and location, purpose, industry, culture, people and time constraints are just a few of the pressures that can challenge course delivery. Traditional first aid trainers often adopt a ‘one size fits all’ approach, however, 4Life Pty Ltd will work with you to ensure that options are explored and you receive the best possible course structure and delivery mode.

In many situations people want to emphasis certain course topics, or have additional content added to suit their needs. For example, hotel workers might benefit from a greater focus on caring for those affected by drugs and alcohol whereas sporting clubs might want participants to concentrate on sprains, strains and soft tissue injury. 4Life will work with you to ensure that where additional time is required on certain topics, this is achieved without compromising any national accreditation or other endorsements.

Course Quality
4Life Pty Ltd offers courses that have been specially designed and all courses are nationally accredited by Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) and designed by experienced paramedics and educators.
